Starting today, American Halloween 2014, I will begin publishing sections from the third Roesia novel, Lord Simon: The Inquests of an Absent Houseguest.
Meet Lord Simon, the ubiquitous magician of Aubrey: Remnants of Transformation and Richard & The Ethics of Affection. He may seem to haunt the St. Clair family. In fact, his troubles and concerns are far more self-interested. Years before encountering the St. Clairs, Simon bespelled a woman into the walls of his house. Driven to free her, Simon bargains with smugglers, anatomists, priests, and power-brokers.
